@saragoodtimes Oh I am sure you far surpass what he does. He trained in France for 18 months, thinking he would chuck his engineering degrees and become a chef. He was just feeling his oats and putting off the inevitable...he was a 3rd generation oil man. Once he learned what he wanted to learn, he came home. He speaks fluent French...His maternal grandmother was French, and his mom spoke it. I have no clue what he is saying when he's "Frenching me". 😉

She was a friend of my former sister in law. She only attended one party that I attended, and brought shrimp cocktail. They were so perfectly seasoned during the boiling, and so beautifully prepared that I have never forgotten them.
my dad........... he owned and operated a restaurant for 23 years......... he can cook practically anything. especially when it comes to Italian food.

My paternal grandmother was a great cook, and one of my cousins worked as a chef in NYC.
Both of them could cook wonderful meals.
A lot of people in my family are/were good cooks, but they were great cooks.

Just saying ~ I think everyone should learn how to cook , its basic life skills.
Hmm from everyone I know I would say my Nanna on my mothers side was a great cook bc she had to learn how to survive on rations from the time of WW2.. as she got older and had a family of her own she was a consummate in her kitchen especially baking 😌🩵🙏🏼
