@Powderflask Table salt is heavily refined and mixed with anti-caking agents to prevent clumping. Himalayan salt is less artificial and doesn't contain addictives. It also contains more minerals.
The balance of minerals in Himalayan pink salt is supposed to duplicate, exactly, those within the human body. That being said, it is a wealthy person's choice to buy a bag of salt for $7.98 vs $1.29. I did want to try it, but I noticed no difference in my health.
@RainontheMoon I purchased it on Amazon for $7.98 for 1 lb., and then the virus hit, and I had a hard time finding just...food. Price gouging on Amazon was huge back in March.
