I've done 24 hours religiously...
I don't do it for health reasons tho. Think I'm probably better off skipping it. I don't want to burn off lean mass. But in 48 hours you'd probably lose close to 1.5 pounds.

Hope you reach your goal... then, perhaps, more goals.
I'm in the "never have but maybe I should give my constant nibbling (especially junk food) a rest" camp.

@AthrillatheHunt I just don't feel the need to fast although it may not be harmful
OogieBoogie · F
I do.
I keep swapping how long i fast for.
I often go OMAD, sometimes eat one day, fast the next.
Ive done a whole week water fast before, (with electrolytes).

@OogieBoogie a week ? Wow
OogieBoogie · F
@AthrillatheHunt i worked up to it first. Did a few days, next time a few more.
Did find out that after fasting, what you first eat is crucial.

Oh, I have and do half day fasts. I never had the desire or want or even the will power for a 24 hour fast. The best I have done is 12-to-14-hour fasts.

I got into intermittent fasting at one point, mainly because of the convenience, but then I started missing the ability to just have a glass of milk-coffee or carrot juice in the morning etc. I was thinking about doing a 24h fast but never actuy got around to it. It's interesting, but like with all things I think the info surrounding fasting should be taken with a gran of salt, because these things blow up on social media and get out of control now and then, and at that point everyone is saying everything about it.
