I'm starting tonight with the 14:10 plan in order to get used to fasting as a routine. I was considering 16:8 because sometimes I don't eat breakfast or dinner, it flops between the two. But with my medications, I theoretically need to eat something in the morning..
I'll probably give my current plan sometime and change to 16:8 when I'm feeling comfortable enough with the routine!

•Would you rather skip breakfast or dinner with the 16:8 intermittent fasting routine? ♡

I tend to skip breakfast, as I'm not a morning person and getting up extra early to have time to eat has never been appealing to me.

@ViciDraco Yeah, I get that. I used to skip it often until I got on medications that were specifically "morning time with food" - since if taken in the evening causes insomnia and restless sleep cycles. ;(

@CutieMeow I've seen a lot of diet specialists suggest a filling breakfast and then a light lunch to push through the day. That put the hardest part of the fast, when you are most hungry, during sleep hours so you won't just be thinking about the food you could be having. Which helps control sporadic splurging.

@ViciDraco Yea! I've read some articles about how both studys say what's recommended with one or the other. Right now, I do eat in the morning during the week & during the weekend - not so much. Because my work shift is early, I do find it hard to eat a hearty meal in the mornings. So I do a Rice Cake, 1 or 2, enough for the medicine & then go to work until my break around 1:30-2. By then I'm not even hungry, but I'll get a fruit cup because I know I didn't eat enough for breakfast. Then my dinner is bigger... I think that's where I go wrong. But I'm still cutting back calories during all this.

@CutieMeow Try preparing a healthier breakfast of things you can eat cold and get them all prepped the night before. Rice the calorie difference out of dinner. Weight loss is one thing, but still want to make sure you get your nutrients. Rice cakes are kind of low nutrient per calorie I believe.
