i met someone handsome today

he said he wanted me to give him a kiss! i told him i didn't know him. i need to work on more emotional intimacy, but you have to be open and trusting which isn't easy! what do you guys think? 🤔

@AliceinWonderland Yes when things are moving fast, it's usually due to a mutual physical attraction. You did well to not just give yourself away. That's not to say it can't go anywhere, you just need to apply the breaks a little so to speak.

A kiss is giving to emotional intimacy, but not just any kiss.... If you just give one because you feel you should, that's not emotional intimacy. The desire and want should be there, along with trust.

Just like Boomhauer on King of the Hill asking all kinds of women if they wanted to hook up; he asked a bunch of women who ALL shot him down, but he knew that, if he asked EVERY woman, he'd eventually get a "yes", @AliceinWonderland...
