Depends on the person?
If people are shallow yes, we live in a world that wants status, fancy cars, money etc.
Those things really shouldn’t matter but society makes us lovers of money and power.
What really matters is love and connection.

Not worthy, but financial literacy is needed to be in a healthy relationship.
Why would a woman want to build a future with someone who can’t save for one?

@Michael1227 I do overtime. I am perm part time around my daughter's parenting requirements. I can cover my mortgage and pay the bills. I'm not extravagant. Job pays well - it's shiftwork - don't need to change it just to have money lying around to spend on expensive dating exploits. 8-) If a woman expects her lifestyle to be propped up by a man she's not the right sort of woman. I don't need to be or want to be a Gigachad.

No. But a woman that only finds wealthy men attractive is vain and untrustworthy. Similarly, A man that only looks for beauty and/or sex from a woman is likely to be very disappointed overall. You need to be able to communicate. There must be empathy, compassion, affection, and similar interests.
