If it is just some guy flirting, I make it clear I am taken and I don't like it.

Sometimes, to entertain myself, I scare them away by mentioning my brother who is pretty big guy and well ranked in the military.

It doesn’t happen often really. I think my resting face is not super approachable. Plus I’m awkward as shit, so they don’t really approach me.

The times it’s happened, I ignore, and if that doesn’t work I will tell them straight out to “back off”.

I always have pepper spray and a knife on me in case needed (haven’t had to use it).

If you are harassed by men that don't understand the words "not interested", "no", or "leave me alone", then take a mace or pepper spray out of your purse or pocket and demonstratively raise your arm and point it at the person's face. That should take care of business.
