When I was a young teenager, about to ask a girl for a date to a dance for the first time, I asked my older teen sister for help. She told me what to say, and I wrote it down. I called, read from my script, and Judy accepted the invitation, obviously reading from notes she got from her older sister.

I miss those days, people actually put effort into getting to know each other and spent time together. Now it’s “oh look something shiny” mentality.
My first date was in 10th grade. just because my looks. She had to slobber all over my beautiful face. I was very irritated, I didn't want to hurt her feelings though since Humans have Feelings. It's like I don't want to hurt her feelings.
It didn't work out couple weeks later. Maybe my autism don't understand feelings.
@calicuz not really. Sure I was heart broken when she broke up with me but that didn't last long. I do want a relationship partner as a perfect life other than just sex and Arguing all the time. I do want to treat a women as a loyal.
Funny thing is now, even if you meet her in person first, she’d ask for your instagram/facebook to “know you better” before moving any further!! Online is the new real world!😤

@eMortal if I tell someone I don't have FB or Instagram they act like I'm a creep.
No, but I do remember going to clubs, where girls would be there on their own, and asking them to dance, and if things worked out right, we would end up at her place or mine.
I asked the guy I liked for a dance once. I don't wait for a guy to come to me. That can take forever unless he gets really drunk but then he's unable to stand up or dance.
@Queendragonfly i thought it was so sexy, sweet, and all that when i was approached by a female and asked me to dance...those days are far and few between though as i'm a little older now and my clubbing days are over. i'm not so sure the clubbing days even exist as much anymore... the last time i danced was at a wedding over a year ago...it was a jewish wedding....damn they know how to party...fun time.
@beermeplease Sounds like you had a great time. I suppose you go to a bar and chill out now as replacement for clubbing. You can try different bars and maybe you meet new friends who knows others and that's how you meet a nice woman too
@Queendragonfly yeah...i'm probably almost 20 years older than you. i live in a suburb of a major city. we used to have night clubs here..even stripper bars etc. they don't exist. and i get the feeling that the night clubs downtown are turning more into just "bars" i really enjoyed the club scene in the early 90s...i'm in canada so that started when we were 19..
@Lilymoon haha...we're old enough where we passed notes in class...remember? "hey lily...i think you're cute..wanna share a milk shake?...don't tell ralph i asked you"... 😊
@Lilymoon me too... and those subtle tugs on a girl's pony tail to suggest you like her...but they turn around and slap you... hey...i tried...but isn't that better than when cavemen bonked a lady over the head with a stick and dragged them off?... what's a guy gotta do 🤷
