Would you date someone who doesn’t work?

Hmmm... Work is not the important thing, so sure, but they would need to have a purpose in their life. Something that gets them up in the morning and motivates their day.

It depends on the situation. A friend of mine wants to date, but he quit his job and has no aspirations to do anything with his life. I don’t want to be responsible to take care of a man who sits at home and plays video games. But to be honest, that’s just one thing on a list of reasons why I don’t want to date him.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind that at all. Probably would be easier to relate to them than someone who's in a career that's dissimilar to mine.

Depends. If they can work but prefer welfare.....no. If they can't work because of something temporary like pregnancy, injury, being new to town and looking for work but haven't found anything yet.......or have money and don't need to work..........sure.

It would be weird for me now, but at one point, I married someone who did not work. We were together for 20 years.

How do they get their money to live? Dividends? Royalties? Ok. A permanent charity case? No.

I grew up in my teens not wanting to date anyone when i had periods of unemployment - believing they wouldn't want to be with me if i was unemployed - but you may find a partner that doesn't matter about those things ... so all those opportunities i've missed for seeking love/a partner
