It would’ve been our first date today, but I just couldn’t go through with it.

“As much as I enjoyed getting to know you, I do feel that we may not be a good match. I think there are communication issues that shouldn’t be happening this early on.

That was well handled, Marzy. When I was meeting people through an online site, now a long time ago, I always felt like "I'm sorry, but I just don't think we're a good match" tended to be very effective when I didn't want to go any further. ❤️

I think you handled it very well. It is a bit odd to me that some of the commenters here think he's a villian.... sounds like it just wasn't a good fit. He was nice and thoughtful but, had his faults that made you and he incompatible, it happens.
