Boney M, “Rasputin" (1978)
Funny how this song’s been recently rediscovered. Boney M was one of a few German-based disco groups to emerge during the late 70s. The songwriter and founder of the group, Frank Farian, revealed later that the late Bobby Farrell (the dancing frontman) didn’t sing a note but was chosen "for the energy he brought to the live performances".
