@Jeephikelove no. its the forum on the same grounds as the coliseum. it only holds 3900 people for concerts. i saw megadeth, nirvana, rhcp, skid row, pantera there.
There is a vibrant reggae scene in Toronto. The prolific Jesse 'dubmatix' King mixed up this heavyweight version several years ago with the mighty Don Letts on the mic. Proper !
@Gibbon nice...fun fact. in the early 70s my dad was a flight attendant for cp air. not sure if you remember that now obsolete airline. but i remember him telling me a story about the band flying on his flights and them getting hammered...
@sstronaut I’d say cbc radio and choq fm play a lot of Canadian bands but what about the rest of torontos radio stations? I think they’re mainly playing us/uk music rarely anything Canadian
My very limited understanding is that if they accept some government funds that they have to do that. And that most do accept the funds.
Also maybe there are some bands that are Canadian and you just don't know it, or maybe they play all the Canadian songs at night when one isn't listening?
