Everyone is a little racist, a little biased. So long as that person is deciding to not allow that to influence their behaviour, the job is done.

Every time I think a thought that I think is a little racist or biased, I reevaluate myself so I can start thinking different. I think moving the the USA as a child and ending up in a predominantly African American neighborhood gave me that advantage.

{@castenmas] would be a great world if you could control the emotion of hatred

@smiler2012 Well balanced adults generally can. There’s a whole range of people who don’t act on the first thought that comes into their head.

@Castenmas or those weak minded to have there thoughts and decision fed too them by evil outside influences

Thoughts don’t always equal actions thankfully .

Biases exist, but racism is a different thing--I don't agree that there's someone "a little racist". It's too bad that the word has become completely defanged over the years. I think there are people who may act "racially insensitive" or act in a biased way.

The word that has been completely forgotten about is "prejudice". That was the word in the 70s/80s. That should make a comeback.

I think it's possible to re-evaluate one's biases and move forward effectively. Absolutely makes the world a better place.
bro im hella racist
