You are referring to the difference between culture (ethnicity), race and geography.
By geography they are Asians. By race they actually are a mixed, yet the origins of all Caucasians are the Arabs. So by being the originators, they are considered Caucasians. Despite they are currently mixed.
I know this because my ancestors before the first century AD on my father's side where Arabs. Yet I am Caucasian by both parents. Both being of eastern European decent.

@SW-User You don't know how ancestry is determined by DNA. Half knowledge is dangerous. With the help of DNA sequencing, even parenthood can be confirmed, and the Court validates that.
Now you are using every illogical argument without complete knowledge just to defend your false argument, Which has been proved false on every end. Go and learn something. To learn new things that you don't know, you have to put your ego and assumptions aside.

@ABCDEF7 That video says the people were enslaved and brought to Romania. That wiki says they escaped to Romania. Which one of them is true?
You get my point of hidden motives? Look at the video again and read that wiki article again.
And don't disturb @DeWayfarer to prove your hallucinated points. Let the people have rest.

@SW-User You are also disturbing DeWayfarer. I am sorry @DeWayfarer for the inconvenience caused to you.
@SW-User Neither the video nor the Wikipedia says they moved directly to Romania. Please check again. But Yes, many(not all) later settled in Romania.
Now the question, whether they escaped or moved as slaves. Now it will be clear with just a simple logic than just making an assumption. I am quoting again a part of wikipedia article again to emphasize on two points. And quoting some Wikipedia information about the invader Mahmud of Ghazni that was the reason of movement of Romani people from India.
It's not clear in Wikipedia that they escaped or taken as slaves. Father of Mahmud of Ghazni was a slave commander, so the practice of making slaves was common to Mahmud of Ghazni.
Now check the geography and logic. Where would someone tries to escape? Where the invader came from? to get killed/slaved there? or in opposite direction? Now a simple logic, where an invader take the slaves to? Where he came from..
It's better to use some information & simple logic instead of making assumptions.

They most likely left to escape the invasion of Afghan general Mahmud of Ghazni early in the 11th century. Mahmud's troops probably pushed the Romani out of northern India and into the area that is now Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Iran. The Romani people arrived in Europe around the 14th century.
Mahmud was born in the town of Ghazni in the region of Zabulistan (now present-day Afghanistan) on 2 November 971. His father, Sabuktigin, was a Turkic slave commander who laid foundations to the Ghaznavid dynasty in Ghazni in 977

Arabs are typically not socially defined as white, but it's ultimately arbitrary.

Asia is a continent
the Middle East is a geopolitical region with many ethnic groups and the term itself
has different definitions you’ll see so many maps excluding and including countries .
Can you name me all the countries in the Middle East?
Also the Middle East includes Egypt which is in Africa and Turkey & Cyprus which are considered European.
Arabs are not white .
The term white itself is vague and means nothing.
The reason middle Easterners including Arabs are considered white in American census is because Jesus was middle eastern so they had to put the Middle East in the white box .
But Arab has become a very loose term as
Anyone who speaks Arabic is an Arab
It’s like saying Mexicans and Spainards are same because they both speak Spanish

@AthrillatheHunt
Let me teach you what facts are:
1/
Judaism = a religion with different sects that believe in the Torah , Jesus is not the messiah , Mohammed is a false prophet.
This is why Abraham Jacob etc are by definition not Jewish because they didn’t know about Moses or the Torah or Mohammed or Jesus etc and they never identified as a Jew .
And
Hence why you can get a free trip to Israel with birthright if you convert to Judaism and this is why majority of Yemenite Jews (not just them ) are decedents of converts to Judaism when Yemen converted to Judaism
(yes there was a time when Yemen converted to Judaism and had a Jewish king lmao)
Hence why you also get this :
Jewish identity revolves completely around religious stories . Even the non religious Jews , their identity revolves around religion just like the Christians who celebrate Christain holidays and say “Jesus “ when surprised when they aren’t Christian .
Meanwhile
Israelites (do not confuse with the word Israeli which means a citizen of a settler colonial parasite state that’s younger than my grandma ) :
People who decent from a man named Jacob who embraced different religions. You cannot support the claim you are an Israelite since we do not have the dna of Jacob to compare it to yours. Palestinians decedent from the ancient Israelites and Canaanites.
Now that we have established that
Judaism ≠ Israelites
And Israelites ≠ state of Israel
We can continue to point 2
2/ the idea that jews genetically cluster is absolute trash🤣
North African Jews cluster closest to North Africans
Yemenite Jews cluster closest to Yemenis and Saudis (literally almost every single dna test I take as a Saudi puts Yemenite Jew closer to me than even palestians )
European Jews cluster closest to European
Etc…
The reason why -Mena - Jews do look similar to Palestinians . It’s not because they equal Palestinians but
Because ALL of mena people regardless of their location and ethnic groups cluster close together looks and dna wise 🤣 does that mean an Omani can leave his village go ethnic cleanse a Yemeni village and fill it with Omanis and say oh well we are genetically related ?
Can a Saudi leave his village and go ethnic cleanse a village in Palestine/israel ?
It doesn’t work like that.
If a Jew walks in the strest with normal attire I cannot tell that he is a Jew . There is no unique features about them at all and they all look different.
Now when it comes to culture that’s the same thing there is no Jewish culture that unites all Jews outside of religion
And even if there is you’d find them to be very few examples of CERTAIN Jewish groups in certain countries and not a global shared thing between Jews.
You’d say “oh wait what about Hebrew a language so that makes them an ethnic group!”
lol most of history majority of Jews didn’t speak Hebrew
In fact less a 100 years ago most Jews didn’t speak it
Are you saying Jews were not Jews until they started speaking Hebrew ?
(also modern Hebrew ≠ ancient Hebrew )
the Yemenite Jews who lived in Yemen spoke Arabic dressed as Yemeni ate Yemeni food genetically Yemeni and
They were 100% Yemeni except for their religion . So were they not Jews since Judaism is only about language ?🤣
Hebrew is a language that died like a trillion other languages that died and were replaced by other languages
Even Arabs used to speak a different language before Arabic
the people who spoke those languages that ceased to exist still exist but adapted a different one
The reason Hebrew is impotent is because of its religious importance and was revived by people with religious ties .
For example if Arabic countries all adopt a new language and Arabic parishes (like colonialism or something )
Non Arab Muslims (etc Indonesians )
will revive Arabic and maybe end up speaking it because the Quran is in Arabic and the meaning will get lost if Arabic gets lost.
Does that mean theyr Arabs ? Absolutely not.
In fact there are many people today who speak Arabic but aren’t Arabs like majority of Egyptians 🤣
Majority of Egyptians literally decedent from ancient Egyptians.
So just because someone speaks Hebrew does not mean they magically decedent from people who lived in that land thousands of years. The settler colony of Israel literally had people speaking different languages not long ago and to unite them they revived Hebrew and it became the language that unified the new colony
So my question is were they not Jewish before they spoke Hebrew ? It’s a legitimate question.
😵💫😵💫
Judaism was always a religion
But when Israel was created
People confused Judaism with nationalism.
3/
the idea that there was a land where people called Jews originate from and solely belonged to them never existed in history .
And even according to them
Abraham came from Mesopotamia (
Iraq ) and was part of an already existing community in Iraq
He left it and went to Canaan (modern Palestine )
So he was an immigrant to Palestine .
Later on
The Israelites took the land from the Canaanites
How can you be the indigenous when people already lived there and u fought them to take it and ur forefather came from Iraq?
So technically Jews were invaders who ruled the land (not even all of it ) for 250ish years
Making them no different to the Romans except that the Romans ruled much longer😵💫🤣
So what’s next they will go ethnic cleanse Iraqis take their homes and land and populate it with foreigners and say “ oh well because we are self proclaimed Israelites and x thousand years ago Abraham came from here this is our land . “
Will you accept it ? That’s literally the lunatic logic they use for Palestine.
Btw the Zionists were considering making Argentina and many other options Their Jewish colony it just so happened that they got Palestine 🤣 so it definitely colonization and settler colonialism and the victim just so happened to be end up being poor Palestine
4/ the Jews who were in Palestine before the Zionist movement are the only Jews who have a right to stay in that land everyone else is a settler colonist .
5/
if you insist that Jews are an ethnic group that’s fine by me I won’t debate you on that
But even then, they believe that Abraham came from Iraq so wdym Palestine is their land?
Also some Arabs decedent from Ishmael others don’t. I come from the bani tamim tribe and we decedent from Ishmael
Ishmael was born in Palestine
His father Abraham was from Iraq
And his mother hajar was from Egypt
And he married a woman from the arabian peninsula
So the decedents of Ishmael have a right to all of the Middle East more or less.
So can I today say “since Ishmael was kicked out of his home I’ll go ethnic cleanse Palestinians take their land and fill it with my people “
?
Can I go to any village in Egypt or Iraq
And do that with that logic?
Absolutely not
6/ lastly ,
you can go right and left all day
It won’t change the fact that masses of people came from ABROAD , displaced the people (Palestinians ) already living in that land and stole it through terror theft and ethnic cleansing and still do. Displaced them from their villages lands and towns.
I mean I’m sure you heard of Bella hadid who is a famous American model of Palestinian origin
Her father when he was 9 days old and in his mother’s arm was thrown out from his home and ethnically cleansed by do you know who? A Polish Jewish family.
So Bella’s family hosted a Polish Jewish family who literally came from Poland in their home
But in 1948 They
Threw Bella’s grandmother out of her own home and locked the house and
while she was held a baby in her arms ( Bella’s father ) she turned into a refugee .
Literally her own house was stolen.
I as a Saudi if I leave my city in Saudi and go to another city in Saudi and displace its people and fill it with ppl from my city and steal their homes
That’s a crime
Doesn’t matter what logic I use.
That’s land theft and displacement.
A crime is crime
But whatever story u use to make u sleep at night
Doesn’t change what Israel is.
A settler colony and an apartheid state

Jews did hold positions of power throughout history in Muslim empires .
But most importantly I don’t know how Judaism and Islam (or any other religion) have to do with the topic of settler colonialism.
Imagine going to a village in Africa and ethnically cleansing many of its residents and start a settler colony on top of it and when they resist you , you bring up the fact that it’s because they’re Christian .
Can you illustrate to me how is their faith relevant ?
Also I hate Iran yet I don’t believe it’s a settler colony
Lebanon is half Christian and has a Christian president yet I don’t call Lebanon a settler colony.
You are a settler colony because -factually- you are. It has nothing to do with judaism .

“ There are two million non-Jewish Israeli citizens, “
1/ There are Native Americans with American citizenship that does not change the historical fact that native Americans were ethnically cleansed and genocided.
2/
Many of the non Jewish Israelis are locals (in other word Palestinian ) whom the Zionist settler colonial movement was not able to displace or they became traitors
(It’s almost impossible to ethnically cleanse 100% of the people after all)
Also in a lot of human right organization records they face discrimination.
But even if we believe they don’t , it doesn’t change point number 1 .
It reminds of the ppl who say I’m not racist I have a black friend lol
3/
Israel does not mind as long as they’re a minority. This is why even though the Palestinians are stateless and in the legal sense are citizens of Israel they aren’t .
This is why I keep saying if everyone in that land today was equally given the right to vote
Even just once
Zionism would end today before tomorrow .
4/ it’s problematic when you say “Israel has 2 mil Arab citizens “
This ambiguous word “Arab”
It’s on purpose.
While they’re actually the locals who have been living in that land for generations and generations before the foreigners arrived not long ago and stole their land .
That is the issue.
Imagine a foreign group takes over Egypt and ethnically cleanses Egyptians except for some
Then gives those handful citizenship calling them “Arab citizens of x nation “
But they are actually the locals
It’s the same exact story.
It’s like going to Mexico ethnically cleansing Mexicans and then calling them “Spanish people of x nation “
It’s like going to Saudi Arabia ethnically cleansing their villages and cities and filling them with foreigners from abroad
then calling the handful u gave citizenship “Arab citizens of x nation “
This ambiguous Arab word
As if they can just pack their bags and move to Iraq or Oman cuz well they both speak Arabic as well.

2 months later in 1948

Arabs are typically classified as White in demographic terms in the United States and many Western countries. This classification is based on official census guidelines where individuals of Middle Eastern and North African descent are categorized under the White racial category.
Historically, Arabs trace their ancestry through Ishmael, son of Abraham, according to Abrahamic tradition. While geographically close to Asia, Arabs culturally and genetically distinguish themselves from what is commonly referred to as Asian populations.
Some say that indigenous Arabs are descendants of the earliest Eurasian populations, as the Arabian Peninsula was the site of migrations out of Africa between 125,000 and 60,000 years ago.

of or relating to a group of people having European ancestry, classified according to physical traits (such as light skin pigmentation), and formerly considered to constitute a race of humans
Note: People of North African and southwest Asian ancestry were historically also sometimes considered to be of the Caucasian race.

Caucasian has two fairly distinct meanings, and the difference between them occasionally leads people to aver that one of them is incorrect. The earliest sense of the word is a literal one: “of or relating to the Caucasus (a region in southeastern Europe between the Black and Caspian seas) or its inhabitants.” The second refers to the racial group commonly referred to as white.

@popmol What is the difference? Arabs just have a darker complexion, and even that isn't universally true. There are very pale Arabs. I am Jewish (Eastern Europe) and much more tanned than a lot of Arabs I have seen.

I disagree, bloodline is everything in knowing who we are and where we come from. This sounds more like a "cop-out" for those who did not keep track of their bloodline, believing it isn't important. I am no more a descendent of the Egyption Pharaohs, which in fact makes me a different "genetic blood line."

In this case Geography and Populations.
Our species, humans, had been (and is) a migratory one.
And genetically mixed since the very begining.

“Arab ethnicity is, in many ways, detached from race in the sense it is understood in the US. Some Arabs pass for and look white, some for black, and most look like what you expect when you think of people from Western Asia.
I doubt most Arabs identify as white especially given the current political climate. I sure don't.
How it came to be is racism and attempting to survive. During the 1920s, many people who we consider to be white today were still advocating for themselves to be considered white - e.g. Italians, Polish people, and other Eastern Europeans - so they could have access to better resources in their new life in the US. Arabs successfully got the designation as white and it stuck.”
I found it somewhere and it’s accurate

The classification of Arabs can indeed be confusing due to overlapping cultural, geographical, and racial definitions. Here's a breakdown to clarify:
Geographical Perspective:
Arabs predominantly come from the Arabian Peninsula and surrounding regions, which are located in Western Asia. Thus, from a geographical standpoint, many Arabs can be considered Asian.
Ethnic and Racial Perspective:
Arabs are often classified as Caucasian, a term used in anthropology to describe a broad group of people who share certain physical characteristics. The Caucasian race historically includes people from Europe, parts of North Africa, the Middle East, and parts of Central Asia.
The term "Caucasian" is somewhat outdated and can be misleading, as it was part of an old racial classification system that is not widely used in modern anthropology or genetics.
Cultural Perspective:
The Arab identity is largely defined by language, culture, and shared history rather than strict racial boundaries. Arabic-speaking people from various regions identify as Arab due to their linguistic and cultural ties.
Modern Usage and Context:
In modern contexts, particularly in places like the United States, Arabs are often considered part of the "white" racial category in official documents, though this can vary based on self-identification and context.
The U.S. Census Bureau, for example, classifies people of Middle Eastern and North African descent as "white," but there has been ongoing debate and discussion about creating a distinct category for these populations.
In summary, Arabs can be geographically considered Asian due to their origins in Western Asia, but racially they are often classified under the broad and somewhat outdated term "Caucasian." The most accurate classification may depend on the specific context and perspective being used.
User
Are Jews Asian or white? Jews, like Arabs, are semites.
ChatGPT
The classification of Jews can also be complex due to historical, cultural, and geographical factors. Here's a breakdown:
Geographical Perspective:
Jews originate from the Levant region in the Eastern Mediterranean, which includes parts of Western Asia. Therefore, from a purely geographical standpoint, the ancient origins of Jewish people are in Asia.
Ethnic and Racial Perspective:
Jews are an ethnoreligious group with a shared heritage, culture, and religion (Judaism). The term "Semitic" refers to a family of languages, including Hebrew and Arabic, and by extension, the peoples who speak these languages.
Jews, like Arabs, are considered Semites. However, this term is primarily linguistic and cultural rather than racial.
In terms of racial classification, Jews have been historically classified in various ways. In the context of the United States and many Western countries, Jews are often categorized as "white." However, this classification can vary, and many Jews may not identify strictly with this label.
Cultural and Historical Perspective:
The Jewish diaspora has led to significant diversity within the Jewish population. There are Ashkenazi Jews (primarily from Europe), Sephardi Jews (from the Iberian Peninsula, North Africa, and the Middle East), Mizrahi Jews (from the Middle East and Central Asia), and other groups such as Ethiopian Jews.
This diversity means that Jews can exhibit a wide range of physical characteristics and cultural backgrounds.
Modern Usage and Context:
In the context of modern identity and self-identification, many Jews might consider themselves white, particularly Ashkenazi Jews who have lived in Europe for centuries.
Others, especially those from Middle Eastern, North African, or Ethiopian backgrounds, may not identify with the term "white" and might prefer to be recognized based on their specific ethnic or cultural background.
In summary, Jews have origins in Asia (the Middle East), but due to the diverse and widespread nature of the Jewish diaspora, they can be classified in different ways depending on geographical, cultural, and individual contexts. The label "white" is often used in Western contexts but does not fully capture the diversity within the Jewish community.

And, by the way, Egyptians are not Arabs. They are not Semites. They are descended from the ancient Egyptians who were north African. Modern Egyptians have much of the same DNA as ancient Egyptians.
ChatGPT
You are correct in noting the distinctiveness of Egyptians in terms of their historical and genetic background. Here are some key points to consider:
Ethnic and Historical Background:
Ancient Egyptians were a distinct civilization with their own culture, language (ancient Egyptian), and heritage. They were indigenous to the Nile Valley in North Africa.
Modern Egyptians are primarily descended from the ancient Egyptians. Genetic studies have shown continuity in the population over thousands of years, indicating that modern Egyptians share significant genetic material with their ancient ancestors.
Language and Culture:
The Arabization of Egypt began in the 7th century with the Islamic conquests, leading to the widespread adoption of the Arabic language and some cultural elements.
Despite this, many aspects of Egyptian culture, traditions, and even aspects of the Coptic language (derived from ancient Egyptian) have persisted.
Identity:
Modern Egyptians often identify culturally and linguistically as Arabs due to the widespread use of Arabic and the influence of Arab culture over many centuries.
However, they also maintain a strong sense of Egyptian identity that is distinct from the broader Arab identity, celebrating their ancient heritage and unique cultural practices.
Genetic Studies:
Genetic research has indicated that the majority of the modern Egyptian gene pool is indigenous, with additional influences from various peoples who have migrated to or invaded the region over millennia, including Arabs, Greeks, Romans, and others.
These studies confirm that modern Egyptians have a genetic link to their ancient predecessors, but they also reflect the complex history of migration and interaction in the region.
In summary, while modern Egyptians may share cultural and linguistic ties with the Arab world, they have a distinct ethnic and historical identity rooted in ancient Egyptian civilization. They are not Semites in the same way as Arabs or Jews, but their long and complex history has created a unique blend of influences that define modern Egyptian identity.

And I told you
“White “ is not based on a -fact - its a modern made up term that encompasses different identities

it’s an alien word to us that means nothing
As for the other term “Asia”
There are Arabs in Asia
There are Arabs in Africa
Plus there is no identity called “Asian”

Arabs identify themselves by the term “Arab”
second which is also very important os the country / city / village they come from
But Arabs are not a clear genetic group
Arab is an identity
Various people of different identities merged and created the modern Arab identity
A lot of identifies are more complex than something as clear as genetics
And your question implied genetics
Someone who identifies as Arab today had an ancestor who didn’t identify as Arab
And might have a decedent who doesn’t identify as Arab.

Again there is no such thing as “Asian identity “
Asian means someone who lives on the continent of Asia
It’s a geological tectonic plate
has nothing to do with identity
the Middle East is the crossroads between the 3 main continents in fact most middle eastern countries r closer to Europe and certain African countries than most Asian countries by distance .

So what would u laben an Arab from Egypt ?

Your post did not counter argue a single point I made
You went and started an entire different topic
and created a new thread and started to mix a million topics at once =_=
For the millionth time you can be the biggest islamphobe out there yet it doesn’t change the fact that the story is foreigners arrived (doesn’t matter Jewish or not they came from abroad )
Displaced majority of locals living in there which is a crime and when the locals resisted they called them terrorists and savages this is the story in every settler colonial story .
The majority of the locals at that time and still are Muslim so numerically and by mathematical logic majority of resistance would be represented by Muslims
Also ur wrong . There are ones who didn’t like the ottomans and there are ones who didn’t mind and liked the ottomans has nothing to do with who’s local and who’s not.
For instance in Arabia (which what today is known as Saudi Arabia )
You had ppl like the Sauds and Hashemite not liking the ottomans and fighting them
H
Then you had ppl like the Rashidi who liked the ottomans and aligned with them
Saudis and the Rashids are all locals
Are the rashidis not local bc they liked the ottoman or alligned with them?
Ur line of thinking is absolute trash.
Then you mentioned isis , isis represent themselves and no one fought isis more than Muslim regimes. I don’t see how isis has anything to do with our topic this is why I say ur an old man who cannot stay within the topic.
Then you are asking why can’t they build a great Gaza
Well if I was displaced unjustly out of my city into another place I can either settle in this new place and FORGIVE or I can fight the aggressors for justice
Forgiveness does not equal justness
It’s up to them to choose to forgive or to fight who displaced them
I’m sure ur aware majority of residents in Gaza aren’t from Gaza but pushed into it
Then u talk about a viable Palestine state
but as i mentioned before
Israel was always against a two state solution
Beyamin said it long time
He even held a map before the 7th with Gaza and West Bank annexted into Israel
This is why every single prime minister and president of Israel only increased illegal settlements in the West Bank
Don’t try to come across as peace loving and that you have been trying so hard for two state
Your post did not counter argue a single point I made
You went and started an entire different topic
and created a new thread and started to mix a million topics at once =_=

@LeopoldBloom
You wrote a whole piece of essay to a single sentence that guy said
And I sent a long message filled with points and u ignored them like usual and went to talk about irrelevant topics like isis instead

@AthrillatheHunt okay -. Obviously there's a reason to make fun of Arabs here and pretend to be confused about who they aren't. I don't want to help with that.
