@SW-User Neither the video nor the Wikipedia says they moved directly to Romania. Please check again. But Yes, many(not all) later settled in Romania.

Now the question, whether they escaped or moved as slaves. Now it will be clear with just a simple logic than just making an assumption. I am quoting again a part of wikipedia article again to emphasize on two points. And quoting some Wikipedia information about the invader Mahmud of Ghazni that was the reason of movement of Romani people from India.

It's not clear in Wikipedia that they escaped or taken as slaves. Father of Mahmud of Ghazni was a slave commander, so the practice of making slaves was common to Mahmud of Ghazni.

Now check the geography and logic. Where would someone tries to escape? Where the invader came from? to get killed/slaved there? or in opposite direction? Now a simple logic, where an invader take the slaves to? Where he came from..


It's better to use some information & simple logic instead of making assumptions.

but if these are correct, neither one is a great or stupid term. as theres a big difference between arabs and southern europe and northern europe 🤣 but would all be considered white/caucasian.

@popmol What is the difference? Arabs just have a darker complexion, and even that isn't universally true. There are very pale Arabs. I am Jewish (Eastern Europe) and much more tanned than a lot of Arabs I have seen.

I disagree, bloodline is everything in knowing who we are and where we come from. This sounds more like a "cop-out" for those who did not keep track of their bloodline, believing it isn't important. @calicuz I think there's a difference between genetic blood line and race. Race is based on phenotype. Genetics is based on DNA.
