School to prison pipeline is an easy one.
Students with large black populations are heavily policed. Black students are arrested at a far higher rate than white students for identical crimes, and their punishments are harsher. Private prisons fill their cells, and then sell the labour of the inmates they "recruited" directly out of high schools.

@CountScrofula Private prisons should be illegal.
@CountScrofula do the black kids have less or more priors? That can be the issue.

@Straylight In Oregon, they are. In fact, we just voted to rewrite the Constitution so that slave labor in prisons isn't legal.
