What's one example of how racism is institutionalized in the US?

mostly black people

mostly white people

It's "okay" for blacks/black groups to loot, riot, commit arson, assault people, etc. because it's all they ever do, to the point that it's expected, so it's deemed "normal"/"peaceful" for them...

But whites are expected to remain compliant, and the instant any of them show anger or displeasure, they're deemed an extremist/domestic terrorist

Now I'm sure some people on here will start calling me a nazi, racist, etc. for point out the above; but I've never looted a local business, set police cars on fire, attacked random bystanders, etc. because I didn't get my way... so who's the real racist?

@wildbill83 No names....just your thoughts....I will say I know a lot of black people who have never rioted and none who have...
wildbill83 · 36-40, M
@originnone nor do I claim that all of them do. Unlike my opponents (*cough* democrats), I'm not condemning an entire ethnicity based on the actions of a few. All I'm saying is that when they do riot, they get treated much gentler than when practically any other ethnicity does it...

That, by it's very nature, is institutional racism. If it weren't, they'd be calling the Jan 6 protestors "victims" instead of extremists...

@originnone gotta say..im disappointed in the heart reacts you responded with
originnone · 61-69, M
@foldedunfolding I'm generous with the hearts when people don't get personally obnoxious. Not everyone will agree with me.
wildbill83 · 36-40, M
@foldedunfolding maybe he's not a simp? 🤔
originnone · 61-69, M
@wildbill83 Blow it out your a$$

@wildbill83 this level of discourse is so beneath we "simps", and anything we say will be met with the proclamation that it is "fake news"..because <you> simp for an orange oompa loompa about to be in garb that matches his skin CULT leader...because you don't feel important or included in your little community without the suckage of un-yuge hands diqq. the fact you think the SIEGE of our democracy makes your people "victims"..we can stop reading at that juncture. so here is the spot for you to remit the last word: _____....just want to ensure you read this prior to blocking, thereby maintaining the brain cells I have.
wildbill83 · 36-40, M
@foldedunfolding yes, it's so beneath you that you felt the need to put your two cents in anyways... 🙄

and not only that, you now try to make the argument about Trump (you're incapable of debating, so you attempt to gaslight instead).

and you do so in a nonsensical rant with poor grammar and punctuation, "un-yuge hands diqq", huh? are you having a stroke or aneurism or something?
foldedunfolding · 41-45, F
@wildbill83 he called his hands "yuge" and i can't use the word on this site without being censured..but yessa massa, i am but a lowly woman, so my opinion matters not. again, last word: _____.
wildbill83 · 36-40, M
@foldedunfolding
i am but a lowly woman
Oh wait, does that mean I'm a misogynist now? (even though I made no mention of gender)

So, If I disagree with a minority, I'm a racist; and if I disagree with a female, I'm a sexist?

Thank you for those baseless assumptions, they prove my original point exactly!
originnone · 61-69, M
@wildbill83 No, you're not a racist or misogynist because you disagree. But, you've managed to provide a secondary response to one post and shown very poor character qualities through name calling and antagonizing. And if we ARE indeed baseless people or simps or whatever derogatory term you're using today, we've been doing it for a long time (I think we've knows one another for ten years) and don't need you to define us.
wildbill83 · 36-40, M
@originnone when someone shows up to coddle another user, and flame another, without providing any input or counterpoint to the debate... that's called simping (a polite way of saying kiss ass/brown nose)

If she wasn't going to make a counterpoint, she should've just liked your comment and moved on without attacking me.

so no, you're right, I don't need to "define" people, many of them do a pretty good job of doing it themselves.

But, if it's such a sensitive subject for you, and you or your friends can't reply without flaming comments, perhaps you should avoid these kinds of subjects altogether.

I don't know about you or the others, but I don't make any kind of political statement/post unless I'm willing to defend my argument

So, if having integrity & an actual opinion on something is a "very poor character quality" (according to you), instead of having no opinion and simply sucking up to someone elses... then yes, guilty.

I'm glad my friends aren't so shallow, and aren't obligated to come running to my aid to flame another user; they have their own beliefs/opinions (even if they don't necessarily line up with my own), and I respect them for that.
Strongtea · 22-25, M
@wildbill83 probs still you to be fair.
originnone · 61-69, M
@wildbill83 So....I see that based on a couple of comments, you can flawlessly determine whether I am a simp to @foldedunfolding. That being the case, you should have more than enough information to decide if I am her simp. So, am I her simp?I'm just dying to find out!
wildbill83 · 36-40, M
@originnone no, I had no problem with you or your comments until she showed up and chastised you for liking my comment. I even defended you by stating "maybe he's not a simp".

Then for reasons unknown, you began attacking me 🤷🏻

So my question to you is this: do you simply agree with your friends on subject, and defend their attacks on another user when they state no opinion of their own simply because they're your friend; or are you not allowed to have an opinion of your own without their approval? 🤔
originnone · 61-69, M
@wildbill83 Well, I did misread your one comment, so that's on me. But.....I would really like to be her simp, and she sounds open to it, so I'll land there. It's all good!
