The Nazis did some impressive things when they came to power, but we typically only associate them with bad. Younger generations use the term “nazi” to describe people they have chosen to dislike, and they have a poor understanding of Nazism.

Socialism can only be partially practiced because it is not practical or realistic, and can very easily become fascism when we consider state interference. Eradicating inequality would make you a dictator, a person using their powers to mess with a naturally occurring order of events to create a new and different outcome, making someone else a loser in the process.

As a good number of them are students and a lot of them study history particularly 20th centutry history, I'd say of course they do. Probably more so than those generations who take great pleasure in berating them.
