What if there was no immigration at all?

Zaphod42 · 51-55, M
The native Americans would still have America. Both continents.
YoungPoet345 · 26-30, F
@Zaphod42 I was about to say this
Munumbis · 46-50, M
We'd have a better world.
AbbeyRhode · F
We'd save billions in welfare.
We'd save more from not having to accommodate all the ones who refuse to learn the language.
With all the money saved, maybe we'd finally take decent care of our veterans.
The roads would be safer.
We wouldn't have foreign enemies in our government, and taking over our cities.

There would definitely be less crime and the world would be a more exciting place to travel to.

Trump, wouldn't have a wife!
Nimbus · M
There would be nobody invading the UK by dinghy.
FreddieUK · 70-79, M
@Nimbus Invading? A very loaded word in this context.
hen our ancestors came here they got no federal help. they worked their asses off to better themselves. let people come here legally and be able to support themselves the same way
FreddieUK · 70-79, M
@saragoodtimes But they were still immigrants.
@FreddieUK legal immigrants who all came with good intentions
FreddieUK · 70-79, M
@saragoodtimes No doubt. But that wasn't the question.
hunkalove · 70-79, M
Then you'd be washing dishes at the gravel pit.
KatyO83 · 41-45, F
Many "developed" countries would quickly die out. UK for example has a fertility rate below 1.4 now and falling way beneath the minimum 2.1 to maintain the population.
YoungPoet345 · 26-30, F
The USA would not exist as a country
GeistInTheMachine · 31-35, M
Keep the USA from interfering with other countries and immigration will reverse.

Problem solved.
FreddieUK · 70-79, M
@GeistInTheMachine The USA wouldn’t exist.
Sidewinder · 36-40, M
Ask that to Google.
Younameit · F
You would eat boring food for the rest for your life
swirlie · 31-35, F
...then Americans as we know them today, would still be living in England where most of their ancestors immigrated from 250 years ago.
Mcmarie90 · 36-40, F
We'd have to rely on high schoolers to pick strawberries in the summer.
FreddieUK · 70-79, M
Those who are opposed to it would be moaning about the people moving in from the village next door for not being ‘one of us’.
