@bijouxbroussard to be successful dictator you need smart people around you 😁look at Putin , if he had right people Berlin could had been Russian city today.
@Khenpal1 Yes, but part of Trump’s weakness is that he’s threatened by smart people. He has to feel like he’s the smartest person in the room, so he can’t appreciate anyone with intelligence who might help him avoid mistakes.
... and Russia's major oil export terminal is now up in flames. Overnight reports say: Drones attacked the Yug Rusi oil terminal in Rostov-on-Don overnight into Oct. 10, causing a large fire at the site, according to the Russian outlet Astra.
And here's a list of 18 Russian oil refineries and petroleum infrastructure hit by Ukraine over the past few months: https://www.reuters.com/business/energy/ukraine-attacks-russian-energy-sites-what-has-been-hit-2026-10-07/
Conclusion: tRump's diesel "deal" was all for show anyway. With all the refineries hit, Russia has fuel shortages anyway. They just don't have the spare fuel to lower world prices. Bombing the Rostov terminal is just an exclamation point!
In my opinion Donald Trump has done the right thing, the UK only has forty days of Diesel stored, a ridiculously low amount we are a silly country and rely on other countries who have more brains.
@Khenpal1 This nasty business with Russia and Ukraine will go on for a very long long time that's for sure, buying Diesel from Russia will save our economy until we can sort out the Diesel problem it's common sense.
@senghenydd Until Yankees and Jews insist on Iran , here we go If reserves drop into a critical zone, the government is prepared to execute a multi-phase, tiered demand-reduction planfor UK
Strategy Implementation Details Speed Limit Reductions Enforcing a nationwide 50mph speed limit on motorways to artificially curb national fuel consumption. Work From Home Guidance Re-introducing strict work-from-home guidelines to reduce overall commuting demand, aligned with international advice. Priority Fuel Access Activating designated priority filling windows or dedicated stations exclusively for emergency services, public transport, and essential supply chains. Purchase Caps & Rationing Deploying a pre-framed £30 fuel purchase cap at the pump to eliminate panic buying, with full ration books ready if severe national shortfalls manifest.
@Khenpal1 Britain has forty days of Diesel whereas France and Germany have 900 days of Diesel each, someone needs sacking, Ration books are no doubt being printed whilst we discuss this topic.
With Diesel going up in price our economy could go through the roof I hope not, everything goes by road, and mainly by Diesel, I have a bad feeling about this.
As opposed to Europeans touting their greenie power, while buying Russian oil, before & after putting sanctions on them, which is what funded Russia's invasion of Ukraine?
Trump tried to end war, but Zboy isn't interested in peace (peace would mean he'd have no excuse to cancel elections & would have to give up his power/dictatorship)
And quite frankly, in light of those events, we've lost interest in taking sides anymore
@wildbill83 I suppose it addresses the bill being run up by the farsical war in Iran. And yet he's crying he isn't a nobel peace prize winner. Small wonder.
I wonder how much of the Diesel oil Trump wants the USA to buy, comes from Iran...
I wonder too if the whole thing is a careful set-up by Putin, exploiting Trump's naivety and desperate move to bolster his Party's forthcoming election prospects, so it looks as Ukraine is destroying her own allies' sources of fuel?
Just as I typed that, I learnt President Trump is now openly accusing President Zelensky of prolonging the war, and of that war increasing fuel prices; not his (Trump's) own aggression against Iran.
The Russians, of course, who have lost an estimated 30% of their Diesel oil production, are very pleased.
In any case, will Russia really sell the US oil when it is facing its own shortages?
We are constantly embarrassed by Trump. I'd just like to know how much money he will make of the deal and if that Russian who paid for his son's wedding has investments in Russian diesel fuel?
@ChipmunkErnie The current problem is refining diesel , not shortage of crude oil . At most Russia can cover 3 days diesel supply for USA , but price will not go down. You have hurricane coming in south which will shut down all fuel production.
Trump: yo zelinskey, stop bombing refineries in Russia. It’s driving up prices. Zelinskeyy: proceeds to bomb Russian refineries. Trump: makes deal with putin for diesel to give price relief to the world. Zelinskeyy: sad.
Also zelimskey: darn it. If I bomb refineries anymore , I’d be bombing American business interests.. extra sads..
@TexChik Because when Trump failed to live up to his pre-election promise of ending the war in 7 days, he led the international efforts to sanction Russia for defying him. Now his back with cap in hand, begging.
No country stabbed America in the back. Trump started the war without first talking to Americas allies, then he said he didn't need them. And this was only 6 months after he threatened to invade Danish territory. So there was no back stabbing, this is a situation entirely of his own creation.
@Riverman80 That promise was based on assumption that Europe and Ukraine actually wanted peace; obviously they didn't or they wouldn't have refused negotiations when they had the chance...
They'd rather go down in flames than make any sort of concession. If that's the route they wanna go, so be it, just don't expect us to keep funding it
And after it goes on some time longer, they'll realize Trump was right, and they'll end up losing more...
@Strictmichael75 again , I don’t care what Orange says . Get him out of your head bro. A man shouldn’t be thinking that much about another man. Think of pussy or sports instead bro
@Khenpal1 This political theatre is a replay of trump lying about obtaining potash from Belarus rather than from Canada. Immediately Belarus pointed out that not only do they not have any potash available, they also have no way of shipping it to the US.
tRUMP: Everybody says the 2020 election was stolen Newsman: Who says that? tRUMP: Everybody! News: Do you have proof? tRUMP: There’s lots of proof! News: Where’s the proof? tRUMP: There’s proof everywhere…Everybody says I am the best President ever!
@MasterLee Given that they are the same country, that's not horrible at all; that's how it should be. Or are you pretending that he's part of/controlled by/a plant of Russia? That's no stupider than when it was done to Clinton.
No more than Biden saying he was going to crush fossil fuels in America. Then closing down American oil and sending Kamala to Venezuela and the Middle East to beg for oil.
