: Is the American Dream still achievable? 🇺🇸

My take: It’s not gone, but it’s definitely harder now. High prices, low wages, and expensive housing make the climb tougher than it used to be. People can still make it—but it takes more struggle, more luck, and more support than before.

It’s mostly dead definitely on life support. To breakdown the struggle: established players, often having achieved power using criminal means are maintaining influence wealth(market share) and political influence through market influence usually using more criminal strategies. Bribery market monopolization mafia style competition suppression etc. such “elites” buy votes bribe judges and erase records to ensure their behavior never changes or has consequence.
Our current president is doing some of these strategies whilst distracting everyone with other equally or worse bs and employing others to saturate the news with bs stories/distraction.
The American dream ceased to be real in 1938 when the Marihuana Tax Act made domestically produced hemp gasoline illegal.
It’s definitely more difficult now and those on top that are clutching power while circumventing the law have made a French Revolution style (Guillotine) the only realistic solution.
