My take: It’s not gone, but it’s definitely harder now. High prices, low wages, and expensive housing make the climb tougher than it used to be. People can still make it—but it takes more struggle, more luck, and more support than before.

It's harder than ever. Neither party makes opening a small business easy. All the tax breaks go to the ultra rich. Small business owners pay the most taxes of anyone.

@Thrust the top 1% earn 90% of the nations wealth crushing competition. Plus that portion of the populations’ employees are considered as part of the taxes those individuals are paying. It’s an unbalanced measurement. Regardless some of the ultra wealthy do give a lot back scholarships trusts foundations etc. but not all of them do. Mr. Djt? Just has good accountants
