Do you feel it's appropriate for ICE to arrest people in front of the courthouses when they show up to defend themselves?

@shannonredtail That’s not what they do, though. They scoop up people for interrogation, based largely on the way they look. Even the police aren’t supposed to be profiling. They’ve already dragged in people here legally by mistake.

@bijouxbroussard this thread is about rather they should do it in front of court houses not rather mistakes are made. I don't want innocent people detained in front of a restaurant or court house. I do want ICE enforcing immigration laws wherever they are broken.

@shannonredtail The question itself is a red herring, because of what ICE has actually been doing since this administration.

When they detain people in front of courthouses now, they cast a net based upon the way people look; and often don’t have arrest warrants for specific people.

Since we claim to only want to apprehend people who are here in hiding, not those trying to immigrate "the right way" (like at a courthouse), it’s disingenuous to cast so wide a net.
