Does Trump really expect international travellers to put up a up-to-$15k 'bond' when they apply for a visa to visit the USA?

If it really does happen, it'll be the end of international tourism to the USA.

Could this be yet another step in Trump's desire to isolate the USA from the world and make it into North American Korea?

I have some good long-time friends in the US and would love to visit them with my 8 y/o daughter, but to be treated like a criminal just because I'm not a US citizen is enough to make me never want to go there.

Tbf who wants to visit that country at this point anyways, like seriously, it's not exactly likable.

@Saage I know what you mean, but I try to hang onto the fact that although the country is putting up a very unpleasant face to the world, there are lots of good people who are trapped inside and would love to see us visiting.
