Here's what we call it in the United States:

I agree and then go into problem solving mode. We can point it out until we're blue in the face but... solving the problem is a monumental undertaking.
Consider what the colonist went through to get free from Britain just to end up in something just as corrupt if not more so with the exception that we can carry weapons to defend ourselves BUT if we do... systems are in place to destroy that little ounce of freedom too.

@ChristinaNks Time to realize that power corrupts EVERYONE...and set systems in place such as radical term limits and that bill in the works to prevent former Congressmen and women from becoming lobbyists.
@4meAndyou See, I agree with that too but playing devils advocate and trying to plan further along, if power corrupts... then anyone with power is going to use it to destroy and get more. My opinion is that moral and ethical decay in our societies are what brings this along... we've been conditioned to mind our own business as long as it doesn't hurt anyone, but it always ends up hurting someone...

@ChristinaNks We DID have a pretty good system...for a while. But Congress keeps giving themselves a free lunch and a three day pass.

If you're truly interested in learning about lobbyists, read "Showdown in Gucci Gulch". Also, I've read that until recently the French had a cooperate tax deduction for overseas bribery.
