Which is the most BORING US-State ?

not if you like it it or not (yeah that means if you say texas or california i dont believe you) but which state comes to mind if you think of grey, stale boredom.

Any competition to Indiana ?

There is no such thing as a boring US state. They all have their own magic.
BlueVeins · 22-25
Idk but Missouri is my nominee for all-around most miserable.
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
@BlueVeins the question is whether misery is the same as boredom. I do not really think so. I'm good with living in a boring state, but don't want to be in a miserable one.
BlueVeins · 22-25
@ViciDraco oh no, it's def not.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
Nebraska from the ones I’ve lived in or visited.
Delaware
Wyoming is so boring that Americans joke about how it doesn't really exist.
Tiredish · F
@ViciDraco the middle is not much. The north east and west are extremely beautiful though.
@ViciDraco It depends on what you're into. If you want a peaceful place with lots of farming land, Wyoming is a good spot.
If you rather live underwater while high on tons of coke, then you'd prefer Florida.
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
@BohemianBabe if I can get broadband internet and still have access to water in Wyoming by retirement age then I think that is my place. I want a nice and quiet retirement. If I have to squint to see my neighbor's house in the distance all the better.

Florida is not boring, but it's also terrible.
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
Probably a state like Wyoming. Just so empty
Northwest · M
@caPnAhab Empty is not boring. The Northwest and mountain states, is pretty much empty, but you can have the best time of your life, enjoying the outdoors and wildlife, if you ignore the random MAGAs trying to kill the wildlife.
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
@Northwest when I say empty I mean miles of grass for as far as the eye can see. Like maddening monotony

I'm assuming that's what they got over there, I've never been to wyoming. I do love the out doors though 🙂
Lackwittyname · 51-55, M
Oklahoma, though Indiana is a good one, but at least Indianapolis is a decent city
skybubble20 · 56-60, F
I didn’t see my state here, I guess I should be happy about it. 😻
Repete · 61-69, M
That depends on each persons definition of boring , if you like city life with all the clubs and lots of people everywhere you would find a one horse town boring while overlooking some wonderful scenery or nature’s own exciting events.
AngelofFail · 26-30, F
@Repete so what is your definition then ?
Repete · 61-69, M
I’ll take the one horse town with plenty of room to explore if it also has an ocean near by that a definite plus but I’m not a real fan of big crowds.@AngelofFail

Well everywhere is boring to me, but the first state that popped in my mind was Wyoming. But all the others come in a close second..
Rokasu · 36-40, M
Dang how can you compete with Indiana. The US can't even remember it's a state.
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
@Rokasu I remember because I grew up in northwest Ohio. Indiana was where the turnpike roads suddenly got really crappy if we drove west for a half hour. It's also where gencon happens, or happened, i don't know anymore. I remember discussion about it moving after conservatives passed some bigoted legislation but don't know if it ever moved.
North Dakota.. not much industry, not much agricultural, not much of anything
Rolexeo · 26-30, M
I have no desire to go to Alaska, I bet depression and suicide rates are high up there
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
Nebraska has always seemed particularly grim but in a very uninteresting way.
diablo · 51-55, M
Was there ever a consensus on the most borrrrrrring state? 😂
Hmm I think of all the Midwest states, like Minnesota.
MURD3RM0NK3Y · 26-30, M
I heard Ohio is pretty bad
AngelofFail · 26-30, F
@MURD3RM0NK3Y really ? it has a lot of history and news coverage.. stuff is happening there.
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
Maybe one of the Dakotas during winter?
MrAboo · 36-40, M
I think of Nebraska or Wyoming
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
Arkansas, without a doubt.
I think nebraska.
Macdog24 · 51-55, M
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
Ohio came to my mind. But it's right next to Indiana. That whole area there is kind of bland.
FeetAreFantastic · 41-45, M
My guess is Alaska. Very flip flop unfriendly I think.
AngelofFail · 26-30, F
@FeetAreFantastic alaska has a very exiting nature though.. compare that to like nebraska... there is corn...
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
@AngelofFail and tornados. Tornados can be exciting.

it's a tie, there's a lot of armpit states in the US
