More Ignorance and Misinformation Leads to Real World Harm

The BBC reports that a fire in a block of tenements under refurbishment in Glasgow was started deliberately after rumours (i.e. gossip) that the accommodation was to be used to house asylum seekers. The fact is that it is for local people. People are so self-destructive when they let their emotions completely overwhelm them. It makes the world a dangerous place.
