Its TIME to make Russia PAY for the war in Ukraine..

ALL off shore based Russian national assets such as seized planes, ships, bank accounts, property should be seized and liquidated.. This is a partial settlement that the world must impose upon Russia and there is NO reason to wait until the end of the war to do this..

The proceeds should be split between Ukraine AND all nations having provided aid to Ukraine as compensation and reparations..

Many Russian assets in the UK have been seized and liquidated as they are known to have been bought with the proceeds of illegal activity. This could have been done years ago under money laundering legislation, but only recently has the political consensus backed these measures.

The Ukrainians are beating the crap out of the Russians so Americans do not have to do so.. and its cheap at any price compared to putting American lives at risk.. Do you have ANY clue as to the value of the intelligence that the US has been given in return for its military assistance to Ukraine - or are you just another right wing idiot?

@helenS Yes it is exactly the same - imposed reparations .. and it is time to just do it.. governments seize assets of others all the time..

@pdqsailor1 If Russia became a democratic republic, and Putin and his criminals were hanged on gallows, then I'd say the new democratic government shouldn't be forced to pay the damages others made in the past.

@helenS Germany after Hitler committed suicide and many of their leaders were hung from the gallows paid reparations for decades... Yes Russia MUST pay for the damage they have inflicted in this war.. and yes Putin and his generals should be hung as criminals..
