As the tsars he leads an imperialist Russia with goals of expannsion and subjcation of neighbourhing countries as vassals to Russia.

honestly, if putin fails the rest of the world will be thrown into turmoil. i hope and pray for a russian retreat from ukraine. but if something happens to putin, he's got no successor and a lot of nuclear munitions ripe for any terror group to commandeer for even more evil purposes.
