What did the West do to provoke Russian hostility ?

craig7 · 70-79, M
By persistent efforts to expand NATO eastwards up to the borders of Russia - after the Soviet Union had ceased to exist.
Broke the Minsk agreements 1 and 2.
Used Ukraine as a proxy to antagonise.

Attempting to make fossil fuels obsolete, russia's life blood is oil, catering to a corrupt nation in Ukraine and thinking about letting them into NATO. Messing around with the Swift banking system and freezing Russian assets.

By facilitating this satanic, suicidal, leftist, technocratic globalist agenda, which is anti-freedom, anti-privacy, anti-middle class, anti-western civilization, anti-common sense/critical thinking/logic and most of all anti-human.

Globalism is a sick and twisted demonic ideology which bankrupts individuals' souls and nations' wealth. It is all about depopulating the earth and controlling the rest of humanity through surveillance, censorship, medical tyranny, indoctrination, leftist media propaganda and government overreach.

Putin was the last man standing in the west, say what you want about him, he stands for self-survival/self-preservation, unlike the other leftist wussy's/freaks in Europe and the US.

@PiecingBabyFaceTogether Also look at the history of Ukraine 2004 onwards, especially from 2014 and what Ukraine was doing to Ukrainians
@ididntknow The video mentioned that yes. It also talks about the inflation in Russia after the Union ended.

@nedkelly That's almost biological warfare 😱
Overthrow Ukraine in 2014 and begin a civil war against ethnic Russians in Ukraine, placing NATO in striking range of Russia, for example.
Nothing....Ukraine got shafted by the Budapest memorandum and had a couple of pro-western revolutions.
Never upset your neighbour if they are Russia.

NATO is standing up to a bully. Bullies don’t like it when people stand up to them. It shows all the flaws in Putins Stalinist strategy.

I think that answer is fairly self evident. Putin and his boys are madmen. It's just the 21st century conundrum along the lines of Nazism of the 20th century. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. I'd read that Putin either see's or wants to style himself after Peter the Great.
Typical stuff really; rage, false pretense, paranoia, land grabbing.....and so forth.

Have a look at the history of Ukraine 2014 to present day, after that, look at the history of Ukraine 2004 to to 2014, then look at the history of Ukraine as far back as you like, then you can make your own minds up, instead of listening to MSNBC / CNN, and coming to the view they want you to have,
