The fall of the Russian (fantasy) empire...

Russia will never be able to recover from Putin's folly. Financially, they will be ruined for decades as they seek assistance from China to retain 3rd world status. Emotionally, the Russian people will not be able to reconstitute pride in nationality that they inherited from the Soviet Union. Russia will split into geographic parts. Putin will be credited for running Russia into the ground.

I have the respect for Ukrainians who were able to protest against their own dictators. Something Russians don't have the ABILITY TO DO.
