@RodionRomanovitch That's one of the most myopic studies I've ever read. There's a number of problems with it, with the first one being the assumption that Western economies are going to remain strong or perhaps become stronger in some way. China and India will further increase trade with Russia. Russia has been earning the same amount from gas sales as it was prior to the war.

That study is largely trash and is full of false narratives.

@SW-User Oh I see , one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in the US , the place responsible for educating a long line of US Presidents , is somehow devoid of intellectual insight and its deeply researched study into the Russian economy is 'trash' and is somehow peddling a 'false narrative' (that's not what academic studies do) ..... why , because you say so , and because it supports your (pro-Russian) narrative.

@RodionRomanovitch Oh my, you really are one big logical fallacy aren't you? Just because one authority says something is so, it doesn't mean it is. The study was largely unsupported and clearly biased. Moreover, and as per my previous statement, it didn't consider other factors like the emergence of India's economy and the fact that India and China will do business with Russia, which will support Russia's economy. The only way that study would make any sense is if there were no competing economies with the West. The West [u]doesn't[/u] rule the world.
