@Frostcloud Definitely not.
@SinlessOnslaught @Frostcloud I’ve known him for many years and he has morals and would never justify rape. Just letting you two know.

International and human rights bodies, including the United Nations and the International Criminal Court (ICC), have accused Palestinian armed groups—primarily Hamas and its paramilitary wing, the al-Qassam Brigades—of committing war crimes and crimes against humanity
According to reports by the UN, international human rights organizations, and ICC investigations, Palestinian militant groups have been accused of the following violations of international humanitarian law:
• Intentional Targeting of Civilians: Deliberate killings, massacres, and physical violence directed at civilians, notably October 7, 2023, attacks in southern Israel.
• Hostage-Taking: The abduction and holding of civilians and soldiers as hostages during hostilities.
• Indiscriminate Attacks: Launching thousands of unguided rockets from populated civilian areas toward civilian population centers in Israel.
• Sexual and Gender-Based Violence: Documented instances of rape and sexual abuse during the October 7 attacks and in captivity.
• Mistreatment of Prisoners: The killing, torture, or maltreatment of captured combatants and prisoners of war.
• Use of Human Shields: Locating military infrastructure, fighters, or rocket-launching sites within or near densely populated civilian structures.
• Pillaging: The looting of property from civilian communities during raids.

@pdockal congratulations. If you truly believe every citizen, man, woman, child, baby in Gaza and the Westbank, is a terrorist, you have successfully fallen for Israel's propaganda. For the record: I do realize there are terrorists in those areas and I don't support those. I'm all for targeted attacks against those people, but against killing anything that moves.

@pdockal is that a description of Israel? Because I'm very well aware how effective their propaganda is on their own population and the entire world. The hate of Palestinians who dare to defend themselves against Israeli occupation is indeed well ingrained, much more so than what Hamas wants Palestinians to believe.
But you're right, no need for any further discussion. You refuse to acknowledge what Israel is actually doing and how the actions of a small group with little support in their own country is different than those of a nation with global support. We're not going to get anywhere if you're unwilling to face facts and only want to parrot the narrative of one side.

Free Palestine...from Hamas.
@LeopoldBloom nobody is arguing that Hamas is taking good care of the population.
LeopoldBloom · M
@NerdyPotato I guess you don't want to answer the question.
There are plenty of people arguing that Hamas is legitimate "resistance to colonization" or other bullshit. In the opinion of knowledgeable Gazans like Ahmed Fouad Alkhatib, the huge demonstrations during the war signaled to Hamas that they had support and motivated them to not surrender.

@LeopoldBloom as with everything, the devil is in the details. Not wanting to surrender and letting someone fight against the occupation doesn't mean they agree with all the tactics being used.
As for your question: I do believe people in Gaza, Lebanon and the Westbank have the right to live in freedom and I don't really care whether they call it a Palestinian state, Palestinian region or just keep the current names. I'm not sure I would have created Israel knowing how that turned out, but now that exists, I'm all for keeping it as long as it respects its assigned borders. That last bit clearly isn't the case though and that's a major issue.

I can’t free myself from social events I’m too polite to say no to.
Never mind a country.

Eradicating terrorists is not genocide. It is a public service.
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@MasterLee indeed, it's insane what they're doing and that anyone would support that. I'm glad you agree.

Meanwhile in Sudan.
@SirLirkALot I have repeatedly admitted that Hamas aren't good guys either. And of course Netanyahu denies he is committing war crimes. That doesn't mean they aren't happening.
I'm not so sure Hamas is more barbaric. Maybe they are in terms of available weapons, but I find it pretty barbaric to starve a population, pretend to offer aid to lure civilians and then shoot them, or to tell people to flee to a refugee camp and then bomb that too, or bomb schools, wait for ambulances to arrive and then bomb it again, or play a recording of crying babies to lure people out of their tent and then snipe them. Those are all tactics the Israeli army uses repeatedly.

There is no such place. You mean Gaza? West Bank?
There is no such place called "Palestine" on any poltical map or territory.
