KiwiBird thank you your prayers are needed. And appreciated. You've heard the phrase is harder to see yourself through someone else's eyes. Most Americans have never been outside the continental US and probably could not see the difference between themselves and the people of the country they visit in any clear way. Some countries I've been to showed me what real poverty is. I was raised by a single parent with my brother, same dad and he helped her move us in a government housing projects before he left us and moved to Miami and eventually LA. I've been to places where his stood on poles because of monsoon season and heavy card board made up a big portion of their walls thatched roof. Loved of the jungle. I think me and my buddy were the first blond and redheaded person they ever saw
I don't think they saw themselves as poor neither did i8 just knew we didn't have as much. We were delivering hearing oil by the 55 gallon barrel from a helicopter that just landed in the downtown of their village. No electrical. No no sorry my I was just saying that Jacinta came o off as someone that cared and made intelligent decisions.
