Israel is also defending everyone in the Middle East (by all accounts, most of them) who is fed up to the back teeth with Hezbollah, Hamas, the Houthis, etc, by systematically eliminating them.

ArtieKat · M
@SW-User I know that anyone who defends the "brave warriors of Allah" who hide away under residential properties is not worth engaging with.
SW-User
@ArtieKat I have not defended them. Not once have I defended them.

On 17 and 18 September 2024, thousands of handheld pagers exploded in trouser pockets of those Hezbollah leaders...
I wonder if those butchers will encounter difficulties when they meet their 72 virgins in paradise?
22Michelle · 61-69, T
@helenS And what about the collateral damage? The children, the innocents who were killed or injured? What about the children who will now grow up determined to destroy Israell?
Miram · 31-35, F
They are also bombing the syrian borders, and Yemenis for a while now.

These wars and operations by the Kahanists are unwinnable, regardless of tiny tactical successes along the way. They start with militaristic euphoria and end with disappointment and rage. Always and just like before.
jenni100 · 18-21, F
@Miram That's why Israel has to reject an approach of surrender of land or sovereignty. The terrorists and their Iranian sponsors do not want just land or a 2-state solution. They seek the destruction of the world's only Jewish state and the Jews in it and even in Argentina. Mowing the lawn is not enough. The war needs to be won, Hezbollah needs to be pushed back to the Litani River, as UN resolution 1701 called for, and Hamas incapacitated as an armed threat.
Miram · 31-35, F
@jenni100

Well well well.

Your argument is not only at odds with international law, which Israel has broken more than 100 of times already, but fundamentally betrays Jewish ethics and values.

The Torah teaches, 'Do not stand idly by the blood of your neighbor'. Yet, you're here advocating what is against Judaism; indiscriminate violence and the destruction of entire communities, right?

Pikuach nefesh, saving life demands that we do everything in our power to preserve life, not extinguish it. Killing civilians, children, and families under the pretext of national defense is not only a violation of Jewish law but a desecration of everything Judaism stands for. This is not about protecting us jews. This is about supporting Netanyahu's agenda.

And the term 'mow the lawn" is so devoid of humanity and you shouldn't be using it in the context of human lives. It is really repulsive.

Seeking to 'win' a war through the mass killing of others betrays jews, their past suffering and ignores the ethical foundation on which Israel was built to begin with.

I , few weeks ago, decided to not engage with alts or anonymous accounts too much. If you truly stand by your words, use your main or establish/verify your current one, espacially that you're advocating for murdering people. In any other circumstances, I might have been more tolerant but not when it is about human lives.

And Hezbollah and the Houthis are still firing rockets into Israel and promising to wipe them off the face of the Earth. The kidnapped hostages are still being held and abused and murdered when convenient to their kidnappers. 100,000 or more Israelis from Northern Israel are still homeless, forced from their homes by Hezbollah rocket attacks. So, yes, the Israelis are still defending their nation from 75+ years of attacks both in Israel and against Jews around the world.
BigGuy2 · 26-30, M
@ChipmunkErnie well said and SO TRUE

So lunching ballistic missiles against Israel from Lebanon is just the new norm ?

@Khenpal1 Israel and Hezbollah have always had an understanding about what to do to save face and yet make their point with rhetoric and missile strikes with minor, if any casualties.

Israel has now stepped across that red line and is now setting the whole of Lebanon on fire.

Israel has no reason to attack Lebanon. None.
Khenpal1 · M
@SW-User red line is ballistic missiles as it will spread to the whole region.
When will they stop fighting over land? It's effing rediculos
You forgot to mention Hizbollah's thousands of bombs they tried to launch at Israel all year. Yes. Israel is defending itself FYI 😤 Gaza crossed their borders and tried to murder Israel. Don't forget.

@pancakeslam Well isn’t it good that one of us on this thread have said we support terrorism. 🙂
BigGuy2 · 26-30, M
@Tastyfrzz you crack on and try and find a Neanderthal then 🙄🙄🙄
Geeze, another Dem turned Trump supporter.
SW-User
@Motzu That makes no sense. Trump is pro-Israel, or, more specifically, anti-Palestinian.
@SW-User Trump is Pro-Palestine, and Pro-Middle East Peace. The contradiction has always been on your part, not his.
SW-User
@Motzu Well Trump may be pro-Middle East peace, but he’s pro middle east peace on Israel’s terms. There’s no evidence he’s pro Palestine. None.

I’m pro Middle East peace and pro Palestine. I’m pro-Israel too. But I’m anti hamas and anti Netanyahu

In your opinion does that make me pro Trump?
pancakeslam · 41-45, M

@SW-User somehow you know that? Hamas has managed to hide hostages like Gilad Shalit for YEARS and Israel has to have over thousands of violent criminals in exchange for his freedom. still think they don't want their citizens back?

anyways what's that got to do with elections? or the price of tea in China ffs?
SW-User
@pancakeslam Netanyahu is currently immune from prosecution. He has cancelled elections for the foreseeable future citing the conflict as an excuse.

He will face jail when he is no longer president. And he knows it.

It is in Netanyahu’s best interests to prolong the conflict. Why do you think he has opened up another front in Lebanon for no discernible reason?

@SW-User I have been in war zones where "Genocidal Policies" on the Government's part were in effect, trust me, what the Israelis are doing isn't "Genocide", it is however reprisal (more like Collateral damage) for the proxies of Iran attacking their citizenry, right or wrong, innocent civilians on both sides are dying... I'm not saying what Netanyahu is having his Army do is right but I also am pretty certain that if those proxies stopped attacking Israel, Netanyahu wouldn't have a leg to stand on anymore and would be ousted pretty quickly and possibly even prosecuted for war crimes by the International Courts.

@BlueGreenGrey If you want proof that Zionists do not want peace, just remember who it was that destroyed the best hope of peace, perhaps forever, in 1995.
jenni100 · 18-21, F
@BlueGreenGrey your last sentence shows how indifferent you are to human suffering. The rest is total nonsense. It's the terrorists sworn to the destruction of Israel who are the gaslighters. They attack civilian targets directly and intentionally. They shelter their missiles and leaders in residential areas, under schools and hositals. They don't even try to protect their own civilians but use their deaths as propaganda victories.
SW-User
@jenni100 Israel has killed more innocent Palestinians in just one year than the Israelis that hamas, hezbollah and the Houthis killed throughout the entire history of the conflict since 1948.
