Yes Israel has a right to exist but it doesn't have the right to occupy and build illegal settlements on the land seized during the 1967 war.

@GrinNude Exactly, although I think most of the more vocal people on both sides of this conflict do not understand the distinction. There is a huge failure here for most folks to understand the other side's position, with most people taking a "good guys vs bad guys" understanding.

What gets me are the people who complain Israel is being overly scrutinized but not Hamas. Hello? Hamas has already been labeled a terrorist organization, has been sanctioned by most western countries, and many countries have given Israel aid due to scrutiny of Hamas. And here the Biden administration wants to call out a few IDF brigades for very clear human rights violations, and they are all up in arms. If we objectively scrutinized Israel like we do Hamas, their military support would be cut, those IDF brigades and the West Bank settlers would be labeled "Terrorists", and Israel would be economically sanctioned. And when it comes to occupying land that isn't theirs - the US liberated Kuwait from Iraq for doing the same, and Russia was universally condemned for taking Crimea.
