@swirlie ty for your input appreciate it hope more and more wake up from their slumber about all the things they thought they knew, when funding for schools and stuff is taken away it's like they want the populace dumb so that crooks can still be elected :(

I will give it two more weeks, to about the end of March `26.
At that point, Trump will declare victory and retreat from Iran no differently than the US declared victory in Vietnam after retreating when they couldn't win that war after 18 years, no differently than the US declared victory in Afghanistan and retreated from there as well when they couldn't win that war either after 17 years.
That is standard modus operandi for the US Military, retreat, but then call yourself victorious after the fact, because the US always bills itself as the "winner" no matter how badly it got it's asss kicked by it's foreign adversary.
At that point, Trump will declare victory and retreat from Iran no differently than the US declared victory in Vietnam after retreating when they couldn't win that war after 18 years, no differently than the US declared victory in Afghanistan and retreated from there as well when they couldn't win that war either after 17 years.

@swirlie Yeah, tRump can declare victory any time he wants, but he can't single-handedly make the oil flow again. As long as Iran keeps laying a few mines in the Strait of Hormuz and firing a few drones at tankers, oil prices won't get back to "normal" and tRump will still be held responsible for high gas prices.

That wouldn't surprise me. When the US decided to retreat from Vietnam in 1973, President Nixon declared victory for the US as he ordered US troop withdrawal from South Vietnam, despite no such victory actually taking place.
Two years later, Saigon fell to the North Vietnamese who the US were fighting against in the first place but failed miserably to make any headway in the 18 years the US was over there.
When the US decided to retreat from Afghanistan, President Biden declared victory for the US as he hastily blundered the withdrawal of US troops from the region, despite no such victory for the US actually having taken place.
Within months, the Taliban who the US were fighting against, now ruled the same region the US had occupied and fought to achieve victory for the 17 years the US fought in the Middle East, but again failed to meet their objectives despite Biden calling Afghanistan a US victory.
Iran will be exactly the same story, just as the failed Iraq war the US started, led the US into a war in Afghanistan which also failed for the US.

The USA is now trapped in Iran and it can't get out.
This is because known uranium stockpiles that were already located in Iran are now being observed by US Intel, to becoming slowly depleted.
Where is that uranium suddenly going to?
Is it leaving Iran, or is it being used by Iran without anyone's knowledge?
This suddenly discovery of Iran's depleting uranium stock pile has put the chain across the door for America's speedy exit from Iran.
Until that uranium is found, the US cannot leave Iran.
As long as the US remains in Iran, the Iranians will keep the Strait of Hormuz closed to oil tanker traffic.
