What the 🤬 - Birmingham has declared the England flag haram

Last year, when a 12-year-old girl was sent home and reprimanded for wearing a sequined Union Jack flag to her school’s Culture Day, it wasn’t because she was a threat to ‘community cohesion’ – it was because she was proud of being English.

'United Kingdom Of Pakistan'? Pakistani Flag Hoisted Atop British Flag

In Brighton they show The Pride flag, instead of the English one.
@peterlee such a shame.... Even in the cricket grounds... Same banners
peterlee · M
@Royricky09 Nor are they allowed to show the English at the Amex.

they are trying very hard to take over america
@1490wayb and Europe.... And they aren't even trying hard.... It's been given to them on plate

Frankly, no-one should be wearing any national flags or political symbols on school uniform, and I do wonder if that was the real offence.

Whatever a "culture day" might be.

Oh, and that flag in the photo is NOT that of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. It is the flag of England only, and probably erected by a sports-supporter; so where and when was the photograph taken?

I don't know what is the small one below it.
@ArishMell that picture was added later on the post..

@Royricky09 Thankyou - I did, which is partly why I asked. I appreciated there could not have been a photograph of the girl's decoration.

I think that picture was taken at Lords Cricket Ground where England were playing Pakistan until yesterday.
That is why both flags are flying.

The picture is not relevant to the start of this post.

N.B.
The St George's Cross in the photo is the flag of England
The Union flag is the flag of Great Britain
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@emmasfriend Don't you always fly your flag under the flag of some other nation?
emmasfriend · 46-50, F
@sunsporter1649 I think it is the courtesy of flying the visitors flag higher.

A Pakistani flag next to a British flag doesn’t threaten Britain. But apparently it threatens your peace of mind enough for you to write about it. Maybe fix the obsession before worrying about anyone else’s patriotism.

@AbbeyRhode in my opinion, they brought this upon themselves.

@SunshineGirl inaccurate?

Do you have slightest idea of what's happening?

You need to behave first.... Where are your manners?
SunshineGirl · 36-40, F
@Royricky09 Yes I do, I have to live with this nonsense.

I am not even going to ask what you believe to be "correct" behaviour.
@SunshineGirl good girl.... Now you talked like a true Polish
