Interesting picture. Not a lot of kids or women and they all have matching life jackets.
Before the UK left the EU these migrants would have to be accepted if they had been processed in the EU already.

@GeniUs Asylum seekers are legally free to travel here. If they weren't then they would be arrested on arrival.

@GeniUs There are charities who will assist people determined upon making the journey with suitable clothing and protection for the voyage. 37 people died making this crossing last year.

@SunshineGirl Then stay where it's safe! I'll bet there are charities willing to move asylum seekers out of their country to another one, any other one.
