Local shrimpers are happy with tariffs since they make imported shrimp more expensive. I only buy local Gulf shrimp, so it doesn't impact me.

@Strictmichael75 I doubt if the price for Gulf shrimp will go up that much. They still have to compete with domestically farmed shrimp.

If a huge part of the supply goes away, and demand stays the same, ALL of the domestic supply will have to be worth more...

I remember when they banned fire crackers. Every year after a ship would arrive from China and sell them off the water to the Natives, who would then sell them under the table to us Whiteys.
