Why do some men/woman go to third world countries to get girlfriends/boyfriends when there are so many single woman in North America?

I know some men here seek women who come from cultures where women are used to being told what to do. But I’ve never heard of a woman who’s used to being autonomous seeking a man from a culture where he will demand she give that up. Not saying it doesn’t happen—I’m just not familiar. But I guess if there are a lot of single women here seeking husbands, some may be that desperate.

It seems some of the men bring those women here and to try to control and abuse them. I have seen some that were in that situation.

Usually they come from patriarchal homes and are submissive. So basically, insecure men that want to control women, go for women that don't understand they have a right for a voice.

Many are intelligent , rich , with degrees and if not rich have the most beautiful manners lalalala

Subservient women

Women from the Philippines that I've met are very pretty, hard working, good with kids, and conservative. They are still of the belief that they must obey their husbands. That leaves them open to abuse in relationships but they are so financially desperate that they will do sad and unspeakable things for money. If you want an education or health care over there you pay in advance. Things we take for granted like garbage pickup and flushing toilets are not common. They either want to come here to have a chance for themselves and their families or they want someone to care for them.

Isn't it obvious? Because they come from third world countries they won't expect as much as someone here would, lol

Maybe because they can't get a "normal" person and the third world country people are more needy and easy to get.

I know an old guy who does this. He goes to whatever country and fetches his new wife, brings her home, she leaves him almost immediately. He’s on his 3rd foreign “wife” that I know about. He’s a real charmer! not an angry, misogynistic creep at all. 😏. Besides the fact that he’s in his 70s and his women are all in their 20s and early 30s, he also thinks he’s a genius and looks for women who are not as smart as himself. He is a very lonely man.
