Why do some men/woman go to third world countries to get girlfriends/boyfriends when there are so many single woman in North America?

I know an old guy who does this. He goes to whatever country and fetches his new wife, brings her home, she leaves him almost immediately. He’s on his 3rd foreign “wife” that I know about. He’s a real charmer! not an angry, misogynistic creep at all. 😏. Besides the fact that he’s in his 70s and his women are all in their 20s and early 30s, he also thinks he’s a genius and looks for women who are not as smart as himself. He is a very lonely man.
