"The American Dream is like a software update. You keep clicking 'remind me later' until you finally wake up one day and realize your system is completely frozen."I told my doctor I wanted to achieve the American Dream. He told me the first step was diagnosing my insomnia, because apparently, you can't experience it while awake.""The American Dream used to be a house with a white picket fence. Now it’s just successfully canceling a subscription on the first try so you can afford groceries."• "Conservatives spent fifty years building a conservative Supreme Court, only to realize federal institutions are like buying furniture online—no matter who made it, by the time it gets to your house, you're going to hate looking at it."
• "It’s bold to think a collection of hunting rifles is going to stop a tyrannical federal government. If the military actually decides to turn on us, they aren't sending infantry down your driveway—they're operating a drone from an air-conditioned trailer in Nevada while eating Doritos."😂• "We say the Second Amendment is there to overthrow a tyrannical government, but most people won't even confront their neighbors about a barking dog. If actual tyranny hits, the revolution is going to get delayed because someone forgot to file the proper paperwork with the HOA."
• "People are worried about a 2,000-mile border wall being built, but honestly, have you seen American infrastructure? By the time the federal government finishes the environmental impact study and approves the zoning permits, the earth’s continents will have shifted enough to render the whole map obsolete anyway.""Progressives want to completely abolish ICE, while conservatives want them to have military-grade gear. In reality, if you actually wanted to freeze immigration processing to a complete halt, you wouldn't abolish the agency—you’d just force them to use the IT department from the Department of Motor Vehicles."• "We spent billions of dollars on a physical border wall, proving once and for all that Washington politicians are entirely backed by Big Ladder. The Home Depot hardware aisle has done more to bypass national security than any cartel ever could."
"Republican candidates in tight midterm races are trying to distance themselves from the administration so fast that political strategists are calling it 'The Great GOP Cardio Program.' They aren't running campaign ads anymore; they’re just frantically scrubbing the President’s name off their websites like a teenager trying to hide a house party from their parents before the midterm election." "Internal GOP polls leaked, pointing to what leadership calls 'close-to-catastrophic scenarios'. Naturally, the party’s official response was that the math is a 'psyop'. It’s a beautiful strategy: if the data looks terrifying, just tell your voters that the numbers are fake, the math is a liberal conspiracy, and the calculator has a distinct left-wing bias." "The Republican party is in a tough spot right now. If a candidate stays completely loyal to the administration, the pollsters say they’ll lose the independent voters. If they try to back away, the White House calls them a traitor on social media. It’s the ultimate political tightrope: you either lose the election in November, or you get publicly fired by the head of your own party on a random Tuesday."• "Conservatives believe their AR-15 is a sacred shield against government tyranny. Meanwhile, the government is just sitting back, realizing they don't need a tyranny playbook when they can just shut off the local Wi-Fi and watch the resistance collapse in twenty minutes.""Progressives love to tell conservatives that their worldview belongs in the 1950s. But if you actually handed a conservative a time machine, they wouldn't use it to change history—they'd just use it to go back and buy a brand new Chevy Bel Air for three thousand dollars and complain about the modern price of eggs."A conservative father won't debate the sociology of power dynamics with you; he’ll just stare at you blankly, look at his lawnmower, and wonder how a conversation about a Sunday roast turned into a university lecture.""We’ve reached a point where calling someone's faith 'outdated' is considered a standard political argument. It's a bold strategy—telling someone their eternal soul's insurance policy has expired is a great way to ensure they don't pass you the potato salad."

Feels a little difficult to be silly with the severity of things. Lot of room for sarcasm, but I don't know if I'd call it silly sarcasm.
@ViciDraco just trying to lighten the mood
