@Turtlepower Three people were charged with assault as a result of their activities in the Cannon Building. The arrests appear to be warranted. The news was reported by AP and others. It isn't being hidden.

@windinhishair You're missing my point. I'm not agreeing with OP but I'm surprised how little attention the size of the protests were from. I never said they were being hidden and I understand the conservative agenda and spin but I was surprised when I didn't see it easily visible on cnn for example. Additionally, the question someone asked was asking what the OP was talking about which is why I posted the link.

That isn't insurrection. From the reporting it looks like laws were broken and people were arrested for them. Courts can decide if those arrests are valid, though I'm inclined to believe they are since it sounds like protestors purposefully broke through security fences.
It's not insurrection because they did not intend to overthrow the government or attempt to interfere in the election process.
Please learn your terminology. It will help to have your positions and concerns taken seriously if you can accurately communicate them.
