I loved Wolverine and Rogue’s father-daughter relationship in the original X-Men movie

It was a different take on Rogue since she’s a rough and tough biker chick in the comics, but I didn’t mind it at all since they paired her as a daughter figure to Logan. I was really happy to see them reference that at the ending of the Days of Future Past movie. They did a good job replicating Wolverine’s coldness but they also did a good job of giving him a heart — by providing him with him someone who’s like a daughter to him.

I hated the movies they ruined so many things because i read all the comics and watched the cartoons back in the day and it bugged me so much. Rogue and Gambit are my favorite Xmen

@caccoon Sure. But that's Logan's character arch. He turns more warm slowly over time. Scott is way more open about things. Hank, Beast, is as well.

It seemed to me the animated X-Men series was having Jubilee as the daughter figure to him when it first got going but didn't quite keep up with it.

Wolverine has girl dad vibes. Usually ends up mentoring or just protective of various girl characters.
