Ian is on its way...

Ian came ashore today and making its way north, headed straight for us. It will be down graded significantly before it gets to us, but it will still be bad. However, nothing compared to the people in southern Florida.

Be safe, be well. Reflect on what is thought to be responsible for increases in severity of weather phenomena. What can society do reverse the effects?

@sunsporter1649 what data are you using? Most, i would say all but we know there are some crackpots out there that might disagree that the sky is blue, recognized climatologist as in the world state the obvious, our globe is warming, the extremes in weather be are related to the climate change, and activities of humans have greatly contributed to this. Deny it if you want, but maybe you should learn the science first.

@samueltyler2 Yup, never had hurricanes until some 16 year old nut job told us, right?

@sunsporter1649 what on earth are you blabbing about now?

We had a direct hit as it exited FL. Unbelievable high winds and constant down pours. Ian is for the most part gone except for the backflow winds.

Looks almost as bad as Andrew on the west coast
