Question for conservatives who support the Florida parental rights bill

Given the language of the bill, how should a teacher answer a question from a first grade student about why Billy has two dads and no mom?

Does the teacher just say they can't talk about that? Is that the kind of censorship you really want in our schools?

Tell the kid to ask his parents
That’s their job. To raise their child. @BohemianBoo

@BohemianBoo It's their kid and not some nut job teacher's kid.
@HoraceGreenley The teacher is a nut for saying that some kids have two dads or two moms?
HoraceGreenley · 56-60, M
@BohemianBoo No. There just are a lit of nutty tearchers in general
@HoraceGreenley Maybe some, but we still trust them to teach kids. So trusting them to say the words "some kids have two dads or two moms" should be ok.

@BohemianBoo We trusted them because we didn't know what was going on in the classroom. Video conferences during the pandemic gave parents a view into what was happening.
@HoraceGreenley And what exactly was happening?
HoraceGreenley · 56-60, M
@BohemianBoo Teachers discussing their sex lives, teaching CRT, other rascist nonsense

@BohemianBoo give it a rest
Since when and how pansexuality became part of middle school art class is beyond me. I’d be fine with juniors or seniors in high school but this? 🙄 As an addendum this is not a sex ed class and has zero to do with art. I am glad she was fired.
