Question for conservatives who support the Florida parental rights bill

Given the language of the bill, how should a teacher answer a question from a first grade student about why Billy has two dads and no mom?

Does the teacher just say they can't talk about that? Is that the kind of censorship you really want in our schools?

How about, 'I don't know."
@Budwick And that doesn't sound insane to you?

@BohemianBoo Not in the least.
How is the teacher to know why Billy has two dads and no mom?
@Budwick Because some men marry other men. Boom, there ya go. Pretty sure the teacher would know that.

@BohemianBoo How does the teacher know the story of Billy's situation?
Is it any of the teachers business?
Does the teacher really know about Billy's situation?
@Budwick The teacher doesn't have to know anything about Billy's situation to tell the class that some kids have two fathers or two mothers.
The real issue here is that you think gay people are scary.

@BohemianBoo The teacher isn't required to say anything provocative to the student either.

I don't know would do just fine.
@Budwick You think saying that some kids have two fathers is provocative?

@BohemianBoo Yes.

You think answering 'I don't know.' isn't good enough?
