@AbbeyRhode There’s no doubt that there are those who genuinely want to come here as migrant workers. There is a process for that.
Tomorrow is the 21st anniversary of 9/11. How many with nefarious intentions to do harm and terrorize Americans through violent actions have successfully crossed into our country and have since blended in? Yes there are a number captured, but no doubt others have gotten into the U.S.

@soar2newhighs Exactly. The best anyone can honestly call them is illegals. And allowing them in is not only a slap in the face to all those who came here legally, it is also a danger to American citizens, and a drain on our resources. As long as there is one American citizen living on the street, hungry and cold, we have no business housing and throwing money at criminals. Then there is the matter of the law itself. No other country on earth allows people to just walk in illegally and fulfills their every need. Try going into any other country illegally, and see what happens.

@MarmeeMarch there’s been Mexicans in Chicago since at least the 1980s. During the 2020 George Floyd/BLM riots a lot of those people in places like Cicero were protecting their neighborhoods and businesses from the black rioters. I agree they’re a much bigger asset to that city than a certain other demographic.

Plus there’s a big misconception that it’s mostly Mexicans coming in through the southern border many of those people are from Central America and Venezuela, not Mexicans in fact more of the latter!
