I think i almost died tonight

Years ago, my now deceased husband (2005) was choking on a piece of chicken and I saved his life by giving him the Heimlich maneuver. It was scary. I'm glad you kept your head and thought that through about how you would get that dislodged. I know God helped you with that.

Glad you survived. I wish your God would help out the 35,000 kids that starve to death a day though.

You should ask why "god" put you in such danger in the first place.

Let that be a lesson to you and everyone out there. Choking on a piece of meat is a horrible way to die. Never try to swallow it because the plug gets worse the more you try to force the damn thing down.

I wouldn't thank God for two reasons:

1. No intelligent being would design a throat like that for ingesting solid food; especially, when there is a chance of a piece of chicken going down without proper chewing up. Breathing should be also possible through the nose via a windpipe.

2. Commuting a death sentence to live in a horrid prison of a world is not a good deal.

Damn at least a piece of chicken is easy to get out if you know first aid. I know someone who choked on a piece of puff pastry and died because of it.
