Let that be a lesson to you and everyone out there. Choking on a piece of meat is a horrible way to die. Never try to swallow it because the plug gets worse the more you try to force the damn thing down.
I wouldn't thank God for two reasons:
1. No intelligent being would design a throat like that for ingesting solid food; especially, when there is a chance of a piece of chicken going down without proper chewing up. Breathing should be also possible through the nose via a windpipe.
2. Commuting a death sentence to live in a horrid prison of a world is not a good deal.
